The Occupants

Leppo
Rob Stone
singing, songwriting, guitar, angst
Leppo aka Stony Curtis aka Ron Nasty aka Robert Ajrian aka Robert Stone has been in various area bands since moving from Upstate NY, trying his best not to stay in them (for insurance reasons). A band leaver of no fixed style, Robert is an expert at having a good time, and in Raleigh, that's a harder thing to get away with (especially during the day). In his spare time, Robert enjoys remote viewing (being far sighted), and reverse engineering (being dyslexic).

David Baum

Drums

Dave

David Baum is a drummer from up-upstate NY. He found his way south selling garage doors, since they had come into style. He soon found himself working in various labs, producing chemicals for local pharmaceutical comapnies. Davis is a descendent of Frank Baum, of Wizard of Oz fame. As a result, he changed his middle name to Toto, and can often be found behind a curtain in his garage (although one never asks what he actually does behind his curtain). David likes to build model dogs in his spare time.
Erich Peace

Singing, Songwriting, Guitar, caffeine

unknown

Erich Peace, aka Erich Peace, is a veteran of the Triangle music scene, having played in groups such as Psycho Sonic Cindy, and Honey Driver. Many years of local touring have made Erich a wise man for his years, which have also made him taller. Erich brings an undeniable originality to the new music being worked on at the moment, and will be revamping some old tracks as well. In his spare time Erich likes to model swimwear (alone).
Steve Samosky

Singing, Songwriting, bass, keys

Steve

Steve Samosky, aka Kato Kaelin, is a member of several area bands, such as Atomic Smog Monster, The Questionairs, Danny the Nanny, and Playtime for Pogo. Steve is a master of bass and keys, and drinking Bass, and losing his keys. He remembers a time when Raleigh was the hub of Southern New Wave Skiffle, so that should tell you how long he has been loitering around the local music scene. In his spare time Steve translates Iron Chef from the original Japanese into Polish for the local Spanish speaking community.

James Blackbeardbirdmon
President of California branch of Occupant Fan Club, coffee, Froogy Quickstep, Carpeteering, All Around Cleaner-upper
James Blackburn aka Angus McNahsty (No relation) aka Jah Beh aka Ducky Dale aka Faux Jangles ("Jane" Jangles on the inside)aka Phil McKraken ,is a professor of Spanish by day and obsessor of coffee by night. James began as a guitarist/songwriter in the SoCal region of sunny California. After a number of unsuccessful musical ventures in SoCal, Angus moved to the San Fransisco Bay area, but after observing the price of coffee continue its climb in the City by the Bay, he naturally headed for Raleigh, NC--couldn't resist that instant drip. One day, not so long ago, Jaeh Beeh was savoring some local java-fare when he relaized that his true calling was as a bassist, and High School dance chaperone (although how he made this jump is still a profound mystery). Eventually, as luck would have it, Phil McKraken found our number (having found some luck), and after several hours of reading his cell-phone manual, he managed to call. At first, communication was somewhat difficult as Faux thought he was ordering a pizza. After a few minutes, wallowing in utter confusion over the taxing intellectual requirements of his cell phone, we convinced him to be our bass player--bass being the simplest of the instruments of rock & roll. And the rest, as they say, is hysteri... I mean history. In his spare time, James likes to rehearse his dance moves, which so far, are beyond definition (and luckily, beyond description). James is also an avid fan of 70's-style ceiling carpet, saying that it reminds him of 70's-style.ceiling carpet (ask Freud).. James has returned to San Fransisco in order to cultivate addictive strains of coffee, and to spin clay mugs.
